Ancient Egyptian Rule

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. It is sunny and warm here in Bozeman Montana...a perfect spring day. I was writing a paper for my Ancient Egyptian Society and Religion class a few days ago and one of the things that struck me was how many things in today's world came from the Ancient Egyptian culture. One example is the 'Golden Rule'...you know the one, 'Treat others the way you want to be treated' (paraphrasing here). The Egyptians had a similar rule as one of their proverbs. Respect and proper treatment is important in personal and business relationships. I find it fascinating that it was a good way to live 'properly' for over 5000 years, and the Egyptians knew this and probably passed it on through their interactions with foreign peoples. The Egyptian culture lasted for over 3000 years and didn't even have a standing army for more than 2000 years...treating others well is definitely a successful way to live!

Success is a Choice!
